This is a one day course including assessment.

This course incorporates assessment of the critically ill or injured person, airway management, resuscitation, use of packet masks, administration of oxygen by both therapy mask and positive pressure ventilation (soft bag resuscitators and if required oxy-viva), and semi-automatic defibrillations. Administration of analgesic gases can also be included in this course. This course is suitable for those who require advanced resuscitation skills or sho need to recertify in those skills.

Certification:
On successful completion of the units of competency, participants will be provided with a Statement of Attainment Award that is nationally recognised. The skills included in the competencies will be identified on the award.

We strongly recommend retraining be undertaken on an annual basis.
