This is a two day course including assessment.

This course deals with the provision of essential first aid, recognising and responding to an emergency and using basic life support measures. The course is competency based and employs as principal realistic first aid scenarios.

There is considerable emphasis on assessment, communication and teamwork with absolute emphasis on achieving a high level of competency in first aid skills. This course satisfies the requirements of the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act, 2001 and is Workcover accredited. 

Certification:
On successful completion of the units of competency, participants will be issued with a Workcover NSW First Aid certificate valid for 3 years from the date of issues.
